In view of all the problems being reported for the Prius, and since I did two podcasts saying how delighted I was with my 2006 Prius, I thought I'd do a new 6-min episode of my podcast (Light On Light Through) with an assessment of my 2006 Prius now, which I'm still driving: My Prius is Fine
I am quite upset that my new prius does not have marshmallows coming out the exhaust. I am also mad that I can not hot rod the car and get 100mpg. If I was the guy stuck doing 90mph for 20 minutes, my complaint would not be for being out of control, but it would be from the 4 bars of 8mpg on my screen! Really, I love my car. It is teaching my wife how she really should be driving. I even think its fun to see how high I can get the gas mileage.
