I guess anyone driving a Toyota who crashed will blame the car, but we know better... Investigation points to driver error in Prius wreck - CNN.com
Nearly a decade of Prius driving here without incident, then reports suddenly coming up from a variety of different years/models makes no sense. It's too easy of an excuse conceal driver-error by blaming the car. Fortunately, word about that is getting out about this. Unfortunately, people tend to just take reports at face value without research of there own. Which is really sad, considering how simple resources like Google and Priuschat make finding info. .
As assinine as it sounds, if someone wanted to be famous for a day ... They can just drive their Pruis into something (not a wall, already been done) and should also get the lead story on Today Show and Good Morning America. John, your comments are correct .... no issues for 10 years, and all of a sudden it's a daily occurance?
Toyota hysteria at its worst. And worse yet, some old lady drove a car through an office building here in MA, and all the reporters could say was "it's not a Toyota." They mentioned the name 'Toyota' five times, but never identified the car's brand; Infiniti. This is getting stupid and any driver who screws up will blame the car, as long as it's a Toyota.
I had an acquaintance who was one of the FDA researchers who tested the supposed "syringes in the Pepsi cans". The FDA was able to test just how long the syringes had actually been in the cans, and was able to disprove all of the bogus claiims. I was just relating this story to someone this past week, as we were talking about the Toyota allegations. Nice to see that someone else remembers this grand hoax also!
