I must add and I not speaking in terms of just the Toyota case, the "maximum penalty" we impose seems awfully low compared to the extortion level billion dolalr fines and levies imposed by the EU.
True. When you're talking billions a 16 million dollar fine is chicken feed. Bad press will have more of an effect.
