Touareg part was funny. A little bit on the history of Porsche Cayenne hybrid.... Porsche was in talk with Toyota to license HSD to do Cayenne hybrid back in 2005. Toyota would only license HSD given Toyota will be providing hybrid transaxle together with power inverter associated with hybrid component. Porsche did not like the idea and decided to do their own hybrid. After 5 years, they are finally coming out with Cayenne hybrid. MPG is not as good as Lexus RX450h but it has more peak hp. We'll have to see the emission... will have get SULEV like the RX450h?
