I have a Prius model 2006 with face lift, us model without navi My MFD visual interface looks like the old pre 2006 model. I have new MFD ? or not. The splash screed show prius. If i have the new one, is possible to change interface ?
If you have a very stripped now 06 or newer, you could get the old MFD (at least in terms of UI). One of my former coworkers bought a used 07 (or 08) and it definitely had the old UI. IIRC, it was so stripped down, it was somehow packageless, which I didn't think was possible in California. He didn't even have SKS, backup camera nor an audio input jack.
My Prius is from California, without backup camera, audio input. If i put a used MFD from a 2008 Prius, i have de new UI? if I replace the MFD without navi with a MFD with navi same year, MFD work properly without navi (of course)?
If you bought a model without the backup camera, you get the old MFD. Models with backup cameras have the higher resolution screen.
