Ho folks, I just received the all weather cargo mat ordered from PRIUSCHAT shop. It amazing and exact fit. I am amzed at the speedy order processing. I had order it on Thursday 10th June 2010 and received the mat delivered via UPS on Monday 14th June 2010, shipped from some place in Ohio. I'm thinking of placing the order for the floor mats too, as my dealer (RT 22 Toyota, New Jersey) tells me that TOYOTA has stopped providing all weather mats.
To my knowledge, Toyota has not offered 'providing' all weather mats, but your dealer may have stopped providing them (or they are just sold out, and want you to buy the other styles they may sell). Toyota, as corporate entity, generally does not provide all weather mats, but instead makes them available for purchase by the auto buyers. Some dealers will 'install them in all cars' and tell you they shipped that way. However, you should be able to buy them anywhere you want, and not be beholden to their whims. I am glad that you bought them here, and are happy with them. I understand that they are from the same OEM vendor that provides them to Toyota. If that is the case, then you have a good product.
This is the first thing I bought for my 2010 V. Great price and free shipping!! I'm looking to find somewhere to get the Canadian all weather mats! Better than the new ones in the usa
Uhm... May I ask where you are getting information which indicates a difference between the U.S. Bound and Canadian bound versions of the floormat? I've not heard of a difference between the OEM ones? Are you referring to an aftermarket branded set?
Yes, even I wish to know the difference between US and Canadian make, since I stil have to place the order for the all weather floor mats.
Yes, but I am just asking him (samsprius) to quantify why he feels that the Canadian One is better than the American one. Is this just a case of misplaced nationalism, or is there actually a reason that one is 'better' than the other? I suspect that if both 'versions' are OEM, then they will be identical. Any differences may be simply a difference between a OEM and Aftermarket version.
