I read the article. Pretty good, but a little more pessimistic than needed. While there is the risk of a few misses and retries, there is a second relief well effort making the "two week" delay much more likely to be one week. I'm also sure that BP probably has gone out of it's way to make sure that the "first string" is on the job and has access to anything and everything that improves the chance of successful interception.
