All I could think about was their poor little webbed feet getting caught at the bottom of the escalator.
A duck walks into a pharmacy, and asks for Chapstick. The cashier says, "Cash or check?" and the duck says, "Just put it on my bill." B)
Repeated every spring at our house. Donald and Daisy returns, uses the pool for playing, including having sex as the cats look on.
Fortunately they don't bring the little ducklings but they show up with one or two young 'uns. We feed them organic Japanese brown rice, corn, etc. Donald comes by himself often to "guard" the territory. One day when he was floating by himself, Daisy appeared outside the front door with a young lover. She didn't want Donald to know but she was hungry. So we had to feed the two eloping Duckies. Daisy is a bad girl. We are now in the second generation with younger off springs repeating the same routine. I actually accidentally video'd them making love. Duck Porno, I guess.
This is still my all-time favorite duck video We have 12 nesting boxes for these guys on one of my preserves. I hope I'll get to see them jump someday.
When I lived in Minnesota was the first time I saw Wood Ducks... standing on a tree branch! So weird looking. They nested in our "woods"... we had a tree line on our property, so they would often sit on our house, or on branches of trees, scouting the territory.
