After a long hiatus...and being Priusless for three years, I need another one...I prefer what I had at one time, an '05 model, preferably with very low miles....so cough it up...who has one? '06 and '07s OK as well but don't like the new ones so much...I know, call me old fashioned...whatever... So where are all the old POL perps? Where is the Coffee bar? ....hey HEP! I don't see too many of the POL regulars over here. Firepa63 is pretty regular and Ct. Ken V shows up once in a while. And of course there's our esteemed moderator Efusco, but that's all that come to mind right off. Of course some of the former POL members might have assimilated themselves into PC so thoroughly that I don't remember them as POL mainstays. POL lost a lot of folks -- me included -- as a result of huge volumes of uncontrolled spam a while back. I took a peek after reading your other post and it looks like it's better at the moment, but that's the first time I've been there in months. DanMan had a wreck a couple of years ago and bought a different car to replace the Prius. He wasn't very active here at the time but still was a mainstay at POL until his wreck, after which he dropped off there completely. Quite a shame, too -- he was one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful members on the forums.
Dan lives about 25 miles from me and I knew about the accident a while back. I called him say about a year ago I think and he was doing fine then...I guess being he has a "different car", maybe he feels "non-obligated" to frequent Priuslands anymore. I do not know. Maybe I'll give him a ring again and check on him if the number I have still works. Also: "Rae Vynn"...whaddya mean "two "I'm backs"? I am assuming your "pagan" based upon your sig line?...but could be wrong. "Bisco": You don't know the half of it!.. Good times "Tideland": The POL went into thermal meltdown and has not recovered from the fallout yet...I came on here to get a better shot at gaining more info due to the "volume" of my potential "rebuying".

Ah...point taken but was assuming I better atleast put something in the "newbie" threads being I am probably "incognito".... Some of the other forums I frequent, which some I am an admin, some as a member, require a posting in the newbie areas either by requiremnent or good ettiquette...Not knowing how many POL users may have jumped ship to come over here generated the "I'm back" statement. Hmmm..."non sequiter"....maybe you are a lawyer... Now back to our regularly scheduled programming....
