Just refilled my tank for the first time since i got my car. It has been almost 4 weeks. I drove it until the last bar on the gas gauge started to blink at me. here are the numbers... total miles: 482 avg mpg: 47.6
Is that mileage from the MFD or calculated manually? If it's a manual calculation, you might want to read up a bit about the fuel tank bladder. It introduces a lot of uncertainty into manual mileage calculations. Tom
manual mileage calculations aren't 100% accurate but they're good enough for ballpark ranges. I used to drive an infiniti that got 18 mpg. I must say, filling up my gas tank in under $30 using REGULAR gasoline is such a great feeling. Plus i can drive 200 miles further.
