Any problems with Toyota's wear and tear definitions for leased Prius?

    I'm looking at a 3 year lease for a 2010 Prius III and am a little nervous about what Toyota considers "excessive" wear and tear. Anyone have problems with returning their Prius after the end of their lease term?

    Who leases? Money-wise your better off buying a Prius as it maintains a good resale value.

    Lots of people. Toyota has potentially artificially jacked the considered residual of this car so lease rates right now are low. Then in three years people like me can decide if we actually like it or not.

    I believe he wanted to understand and know more about the contract and to see anyone here understand it better. Gosh whats up with the attitude. If you don't know it then don't say anything. You are not being helpful.

    i think the OP is asking, do Toyota nick pick, every little nick and scratch, and over charge at the end of the lease, if you do not purchase..

    Like will they charge you $500 extra because of road rash, dead bugs, on your front bumper, etc..

    (or atlest this is my question) .lol
