    I picked up my Seaside Pearl (which I refuse to call it, I call it Penn State blue) package 6 Prius on Friday. I love it!

    I lucked out, I placed my order the very same day that gas prices went up a dollar. So I only had to wait a month to receive my car. All the other dealerships told me i'd have to wait a few months, but I found the largest Toyota dealership in the area, and they receive the largest allocation of cars. After I got the car, they told me that the wait for packages #1-4 would be 2-4 months, and #5-6 would be 4-6 month wait! I placed my deposit at just the right time...

    I put the Kenwood Mini-Sub in the cargo area already. It broke my heart to take off the rear door panels so early in the car's life, but everything hooked up without a problem. I was hoping for a little more "bump" from it, but its a nice compliment to the JBL system, especially for the price and power usage.

    I love everything about this car. It has a lot more pickup/acceleration than I thought it would! Welcome me to the Prius club!!! I'm glad to be here. :D

    Congrats! I've ordered my Seaside Pearl, but haven't gotten it yet - hopefully soon. Do you have any links discussing the JBL Mini Sub? I'm quite interested after reading your post.

    And I used Sparky's infamous speaker guide to take off the back door panels - You can search for that on the site. Actually, you can google it and it'll come up.

    And it was the Kenwood mini-sub, im not sure JBL makes one. I got it for 168 after shipping from etronics.com, but you can check mysimon.com for the cheapest prices for you...

    Orange? I'm jealous... It's only Penn State blue because thats the closest color I could think of. I have no formal ties to the school. I'd love a custom color...

    Shucks, I thought you were a Mt. Nittany---really wanted to needle you---

    There's a 16-year-old poster here in PC, but I don't know if he has TITLE ;) to his Prius or drives dad's.

    I'm 64, but there's an 87-year-old, too. Retired engineer.

    Welcome! I got your car's twin on Monday! Seaside Pearl #6 :D It actually came in Friday after I waited about 6 weeks, but I was going out of town so had to wait 3 days to pick it up. Oh, the torture!

    The dealer said that people were calling in offering him $3K over MSRP to have it (it was showing up as being available immediately online)! Good thing it was promised to me :)
