My 2010 III Prius was in a minor accident. No damage on the HV battery at all or on any of the doors. The damage was on the rear bumper and some on trunk lid. Now my car is not starting. Everything is coming on okay but "CHECK THE HYBRID SYSTEM" message displays. Is there the easy way to make the car start? Is it possible the emergency shut off system was activated? How can I deactivate that?

Odd. I suppose something could have been tripped. Did you give your service department a call? That would be the first place I would start.
