2002 Prius. Started making a hum, coming from the rear, starts at about 20 mph. Stops when the speed gets below that. Getting louder. Had new tires put on, but that didn't help. Any ideas? Bearings? Transmission? Thanks

not much information to go on but it's possible it's a wheel bearing or possibly an exhaust system problem or miraiad other things going wrong. how many miles on the car? any maintainace issues with it, outstanding? worse on corners? if you lightly apply the emergence brake does the sound change? might be time to take it to a mechanic and get an opinion from them.
