Where is it? I can't seem to locate it. It sounds like it's coming from inside the fuse box under the hood. Does anyone know?
I'd help you out but that was the first thing I had the dealer turn off (along with the continuous reverse beep) when I got the car. It's one of the customizable features.
I'm not looking to turn it off. I'm looking to activate it with a momentary push button to act as a pedestrian horn, as in get the flock out of my way but in a way so that it doesn't startle them.
I find that a tap to the main horn does that. I tried the lock and unlock beeper on the key fob, but that just seemed to be ignored as people have become accustomed to the sound of a car locking or unlocking. Just don't honk at wild turkeys, it only confuses them, forcing a mid-road conference.
