I know this should be easy, but the darned thing will not come out. I have removed the bolt from the back (close to the windshield) screw, and am able to lift the tank of that screw, but the tank is still attached somewhere in the front. What is the magic trick ?
There is a push tab clip in the front. You need to fiddle with it. Once you have it removed you will say....oh that was easy.
a thread discussion about the headlight change out describes it best. "It has a pop-out screw on the left and one threaded screw towards the firewall on top with a bolt/washer combo that holds it down. Also, there will be a electrical wire that pops free from the right side. Take off the two electrical connectors "on bottom" by squeezing them and pulling. Now the rubicks cube... "I mean the container", will come out with a little manipulation.. the front plastic tab that goes to that threaded screw hold down will need to be bent just a tad to release from under the front lip and the whole thing will come out."
Still need an answer on how to release that #*$% push tab thingy on the left 'fender' side of the washer fluid tank so it will come out. Fiddling with it, squeezing, pulling, pushing, didn't work. All else is disconnected.
