New door handle problems with smart key

    Just picked up my Prius, after having some body work done, including replacing the drivers door handle. The door locks and unlocks with the key fob buttons, but the smart key functionality does unlock it and the button on the door handle does not lock it. The passenger door works fine in all ways, so I assume the key fobs are fine. Is there anything easy to do to reset the new door handle, or was something incorrectly installed and I need to bring it back?

    That is a good question, I just had to have my Drivers side repainted due to a parking lot bozo backing out and scraping my car and $2400 bucks later, Thank You AAA SoCal and I also am havng trouble, difficulty wih the handle..

    I guess I will take it apart myself, do a visual, we will see!!!

    sounds like your bodyman has left the white conector for the smart function on the end of the handel unpluged.get a flashlight and look in there with the window open.
