Hi folks, I'm new to the forum but have been a Prius owner since 2006. I'm ready to move to the big leagues and buy the next generation. I want all the bells and whistles but need a little guidance. My current 2006 has 70k miles, good shape, but according to the black book value has dropped considerably. I have choices here. To buy new 2010 V. Or wait until the 2011 comes out, or wait until the electric vehicle comes out. I don't think I can wait to long due to the fact that I won't get much for trade in value. What's everyone's thoughts? Your guidance would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.
Welcome, I'm in Wheaton! Well, I just bought a 2009, and I wish I had gone for the 2010. Unless you've got a place to plug the car in, go with a 2010/11. Talk to all the dealers in the area. There are like five hundred of em. Northbrook, Willowbrook, Oak Brook, Orland Park, Oak Park..... geez. There are more than I thought.
