Any Prius with DUAL zone climate control? Or, which vehicle WITH dual zone has highest MPG rating?

    Hi folks...

    My wife likes the temperature in the cabin of whatever car we are driving warm, and I like it cool (what else is new, right?)...I almost bought an '04 Prius, so have some familiarity with the model, but what I don't know is:

    Has there been any year/model of Prius, 2004 or newer, that is equipped with DUAL zone climate control?

    As a follow-up question, can anyone tell me (in case the Prius never had dual zone climate control) which vehicle has the highest MPG rating WITH dual-zone climate control.

    my wifes hycam has it and we love it! get's 35-45 mpg.

    Same problem here. We solve it with different layers of clothing. In a Prius, heated seats in a IV or V (or after market) would seem to solve your problem.

    2nd gen never got it and I'm fairly sure the 3rd gen never did either.

    In CR's testing, Most fuel-efficient cars lists their top mileage vehicles.

    I believe the two VW TDIs might, w/a high enough trim level. Otherwise, it'd be the HyCam, FFH and NAH.

    Sounds like you have a relatively mild case of AWTT (Acute Wife Temperature Temperament :().

    None of the Prius models ever had dual-zone automatic climate control.

    For that, you'll have to move up to a Fusion Hybrid or a Camry Hybrid.

    The highest MPG hybrid with dual zone temp is Lexus CT200h that is rated 42 MPG.

    Only problem is that I don't believe it's shipping the US yet.

    Lexus CT 200h hybrid launches in Japan — Autoblog Green says March in the US. www.lexus.com still lists it as a future vehicle.
