New Prius owner here and I'll stop over to the intro thread shortly but have a pressing question about Toyota's extended Service Contract. I never considered such things with past vehicle purchases as this stuff tends to be a profit maker for the dealer. But this is my trek into the Hybrid world. They're pushing th Basic Extended Service Contract which covers all the usual bumper 2 bumper for 5/100,000 which ever etc... We've owned Toyota's in the past and had great service. I historically do most of my own service but after looking under the hood I do not know. Your experiences or thoughts? Thanks, Keivn
