Does anybody notice how after long trips of a couple hours, the Prius rattles and creaks even when cruising in a parking lot at 5mph. I think it's kinda funny. That is, unless it doesn't happen to anyone else and there's actually something wrong with my car. Oh god...
The only creaking sounds I hear after long drives come from my knees. So far no rattles, so I'm not complaining.
i have heard some "electical creaking" after long drives, usually in warmer weather. very faint sounds, definitely not mechanical. almost tinny chirps and buzzes, but definitely sounds electrical. this is the only unique sound i have attributed to longer drives. normal rattles and squeeks i have heard at almost any interval, short drives and long. my passenger seat when unoccupied tends to make an annoying squeek, but much louder than the "electrical creaking" i have heard if i lean the seat back it goes away.
