I bought my HID kit from HIDExtra back in June of 2010 and this evening when I went to turn on the lights, my driver's side is dimmer and has a purplish tint now. I bought the 5000K kit and it has been less than 10 months. Does anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks.
It could be that the ballast is going out. You should be able to buy a replacement for cheap from their webpage.
I'd email customer service and let them know. They should still be able to replace for free under warranty. They'll probably ask for pictures so have those ready. iPhone ?
I emailed them and they are sending me a replacement bulb as that was the problem. Thanks everyone for your help
