I found this 2010 Prius V for sale by owner with 3,541 miles for $21,720. It looks like an excellent condition with low miles. The asking price seems reasonable. Is this a good deal to pass up?
At that price and mileage, if you don't buy it, someone else will. I think it's a great deal for a 2010 Prius V. Spend the money and do a CarFax search on the vehicle's serial number.
It may be too good a deal NOT to pass up! Make sure you get a full history on a used Prius---any used Prius, before you pull the trigger on a sale. 22K doesn't sound too bad---or too good to be true IMHO. It's possible that the owner just doesn't want to get the shaft-o-rama on a trade. It's also juuuust possible that the vehicle was involved in a prior collision, fire, flooding, theft, famine, civil unrest, etc.... which would put its real world value somewhere between an Aveo and a Versa. The Prius is a great car, but it has a glass jaw when it comes to collisions. Get service records if available, and a Carfax report, and an inspection to be sure. Good Luck! I hope this is legit sale. There is alot of scam going on around my area, where buyer are getting robbed at gun point. The seller has not responded yet.
