In my father's family J names repeat a lot. I had an Great Uncle John and a brother John. (who goes by Jon-El) and a Grandpa Joe and a brother Joel, and an Uncle Jess, a cousin Jess (who goes by Dune) and a brother Jess. My daughter is Janet and I have a great nephew James. In my case my Grandpa Jim was known as Slim, my Uncle Jim was known as Jimmy, my father Jim was known as JJ and I was Jimbo. My first real programming job I worked in a software house with 21 programmers, 7 of which were some variation of Jim. So I kept Jimbo. The last small town I lived in had 3 Jim Palmers, my current home town has 2. It never hurts to be unique. If you google Jim Palmer, you will find baseball pitchers, trucking magnates, astronomers, aircraft executives, and many others. Should you google JimboPalmer, you find me. (mostly giving networking advice) It just works for me. The closest that article comes to mentioning a Prius is that I travel for work.
Sweet! I hope my children meet and fall in love with kind hearted people like you two. In my family we have Jim Sr., Jr., III, and IV. Jim Jr.'s brother in law is a Jim too. They're known as "Red", Jim, Jimmy, James and Uncle Gym.
Congratulations. I had two Uncle Jims - one was a fair bit larger than the other, so he was Jumbo and the other was Jimbo.
