I have been lurking for 2 weeks since bringing my Prius home. I have already seen a huge increase in mpg after trying different strategies in posts I've been reading. I just want to say thank you! PriusChat is wonderful! I am learning so much!
Thank you, Mark! And, yes, I agree about good mileage being addictive! I am already obsessed with keeping the mpg near 60! Florida weather does have its advantage. I have been considering a Prius for a while. I am so happy I bought this car!
Welcome aboard! What subjects/grade do you teach? I have been trying to keep my 50 mpg average (not working)... Alaska has its disadvantages.
Thank you, Spiderman and Emig! I teach second grade (so all academic subjects) at a magnet school for the performing arts. It's a great age! And a wonderful school! I haven't achieved my 60 either, so don't worry! It's sure fun trying!
You can tell it's warming up here as well. Look at my Fuelly link below my signature. I can't get those kinds of numbers in colder weather. Spidey's having to dodge too many moose to get a real good mpg average.
