Drivers Power window autoup THEN half down

    I recently had to change my remote battery which was causing the car not to start. Now when I use the auto-up feature on the drivers window it does go all the way up BUT then also goes down halfway. Any ideas?

    just manually run it up and down a couple of times to reset it. This usually means a loss of 12v power happened.

    If the window goes down without your pressing the driver's window button in that direction, then I would say that you should have the window checked out. Perhaps the mechanism is binding.
