Is it safe to leave 05 Prius car for three weeks without use? I live in the Caribbean where temps are in the 80's. Thanks for the advice.
My 06 was left parked for >3 weeks when I went on vacation and it started ok for my friend who had to pick me up in my Prius. If you have SKS, be sure to disable it via the switch under the steering column to reduce drain. If you're still on the original 12 volt, it's likely on its last legs and might be dead when you return. My FIL's Prius went for nearly 2.5 months w/o being started. It started OK but the 12V battery was close to being dead I think. Next time I will turn off the SMART key system before storing for that long.
