I would like to set up a Wiki for the Prius 2010. There is a lot of information here in the forums, but it is spread among hundreds of threads and thousands of posts. I personally find the search function not providing me the right results (I might be not that good in inserting the right search parameters). A Wiki can receive contributions from everybody, I haven't found one yet on the internet, and it is a self-regulating document. It could be used on PC to redirect Newbies in search of answers to FAQ and offer insight and nitty-gritty details to the "pro" users. Does anybody know how to set up a wiki? does anybody have any experience with Wikis? which tool/platform offers the easiest user interface for max cooperation from different Prius owners? What do you think? any suggestions/ideas?
But why? The 2011 is hardly any different to the 2010 and you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference between the two from the outside. Why not just add a sub section to the 2010/gen3 Prius section to include 2011 updates?
Oh c**p - I have just noticed that I wrote 2011... what I wanted to say is: I want to make a Wiki for the Prius Gen 3...
I have made a new post with a more meaningful title - if somebody knows how to delete a post/thread, please let me know - this one has a wrong title and might be misunderstood.
Pakitt, your blog is the next best thing. I've spent a lot of time reading it. As a resource for prospective Prius purchasers it is peerless.
Wow - thanks Seamaster for your nice words. The only problem with my blog is that is not "cooperative" like a Wiki would be - so if there are errors, additional information etc. they cannot be added other than myself and it is unstructured - only a stream of articles...
