Today was supposed to be like any other day. I got on PriusChat, woke up, and got in my car. In that order. A minute after driving I realized my tire pressure light was on. Hmmm. The weather’s been cold and the car doesn’t feel any differently. It’s probably a fluke. 30 minutes later the light was still on. I checked the tire pressures immediately. Well I must have been half asleep still because I thought the gauge was reading 40psi. Got to my desk, did some heavy thinking, and decided to check the pressures again. This time I checked, the RF tire was at 25 psi. Maybe the pressure light wasn’t a fluke. I used my lunch break to visit the tire shop literally across the street from me. $28 and 45 minutes later my tire was patched (expensive, I know). But don’t worry, they didn’t let me go empty handed. The culprit; Safe driving everyone.
ouch, $28 to patch the tire? Well, convenience and it's done, though. I think it's around $15 to have it done here - free if you have road hazard warranty. I tend to buy it on all the tires now just because there's always construction. I esp like the picture with PC on the monitor in the background
Huh, when I got a nail in my tire, I took it to Les Schaub, and they fixed it for free. I didn't even buy the tires from them.
Some places like America's Tire also do it for free. Too late. Lessoned learned. I like giving my money away.
I think I post in my sleep too. At least they could patch it. I lost my Nokian tires to a big screw in the shoulder of the tread. Grrrr
