Just picked up my new Toyota Prius T Spirit this morning. (Sorry about the poor quality of the picture, but my camera battery ran out and I only managed one shot.) Maybe you can help. In the UK, it's called Ocean Blue, but the paint code (8T5) is the same as listed as Ribbon Blue in the US. I want to buy some side mouldings from the shop, but can't register as UK doesn't show on the drop down list. I have emailed the shop to ask if they can ship to the UK (I'm happy to pay whatever the shipping cost is). I cannot find anywhere in the UK that sells them ready painted. Can anybody confirm: Is Ocean Blue and Ribbon Blue the same (code: 8T5) - I assume they are, just called different names in different countries. Does PriusChat Shop ship outside the United States?
I don't know if it is the paint code, but I just checked the door panel on my Blue Ribbon 2010 Prius and it includes the code 8T5\LA10. I hope this helps.
As long as the paint code matches, you're fine. Toyota tends to use regional names for the colours. (If you check out the 3G Prius Features & Specifications in the Knowledge Base section, you'll see that most of the colours have different names)
