Greetings, We recently went open-source with libvoyager, an Android library that lets developers quickly write OBD/CAN applications without writing the low level communications code. I'm looking to beef up the Prius support in the app. I see that there is lots of interest and support for connecting to the CAN network in Priuses so I'm hoping to meet a few others in the forum here that might be interested. Google "github gtosoft" and check out gtosoft dot com (projects page) to see more. BH
I do all my testing on a OBDLink w/ Bluetooth from scantool dot net. As a backup I also have a bunch of DealExtreme (the little blue one) adapters. They are pretty easy to modify so I use them to test new designs and such. Both support OBD and CAN monitoring quite well.
Interested in testing you apps. I just purchased an ebay OBD II/CAN Bluetooth adapter (ELM 327 1.4 I think) I will be trying Rev and Dash Command in the meantime.
