Hello all! As of yesterday, I'm the owner from a "gently loved" 2010 blizzard pearl Prius. In less than 24 hours of owning the car, I have learned a lot from this website/forum, and for that I am very appreciative and it's a pleasure to meet all of you!

Aloha and welcome or should I say howdy partner? Any way you slice it glad to have you. Nice color by the way. Did you purchase from a private party or a dealership? Did you get it for a decent price or was the seller taking advantage of the current market?

Welcome aboard and enjoy your new ride. Crack that owner's manual if you haven't... lots of good info in there.

Howdy is perfectly acceptable down here :)

I bought the car from a Toyota dealership. Considering the current market, I believe I got a good price, but I do think it's a little bit of a premium over what prices were pre-Japan disaster. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to wait it out - I was in the market for a car because my poor Celica finally went out of commission and therefore I needed a car ASAP. Out of all the cars I test drove, the only ones that really stood out to me were the Prius and an Audi A4 quattro - obviously the Prius was the smart choice!

Finally finished flipping through the owner's manual a couple hours ago - it sure is a doozy to go through but it is definitely helpful.
