This is may be the cleanest, low mileage, 06 Prius you will find! 80% of the miles are highway, commuter miles to a nearby larger city. The climate in the Texas Panhandle is dry, our roads and streets are straight and uncongested with few hills and no mountains. The car has been very well maintained, and it is in complete working order. The exterior looks great and has always been hand washed. As you would expect at 5 years, there are some minor tiny marks on the hood and 3 very light scratches on the sides. The windshield is star free but has 2 very minor scuff marks from a caliche, soft rock. More photos available by email.
My original plan was to drive this little gem for many more years, but that all changed with the disasters in the country of origin. My replacement vehicle is none other than a 2011 Prius.

    Options include:
    · Driftwood Pearl exterior; Beige, Taupe interior; cloth seats
    · Package 1; Driver and front passenger front seat-mounted side airbags; front and side rear side curtain airbags
    · Vehicle Shield package, lusterizing sealant, sound shield, sealant cleaner, rental car assistance
    · Carpet, mat set, 5 pieces, includes rear cargo mat
    · Color keyed door edge guards
    · Rear bumper protector
    · Custom tape stripe
    · Fabric guard
    · Mud guards (removed and not shown in photo)
    · Cargo net
    Other information:
    · Purchased new May of 06 - one owner, clear title, only 45,000 miles, looks and runs great. Rated at 60 mpg city and 51 mpg highway. My overall average (not including road trips) is 47 mpg.
    · Still under factory 100,000 mile warranty.
    · Original window sticker and maintenance records available.
    · Oil and filter changed every 5k miles.
    · Retired couple, no pets, kids, smoking or eating; the stereo and CD player are rarely used.
    · Accident & door-ding free. Never driven in road salt, deep water, muddy or rough roads, loose gravel, front end never jammed against curb etc, spare tire never used.
    · New tires, Yokohama S-Drive, 185-55R-15, 3000 miles. Low rolling resistance, very quiet and smooth riding, rated 51 psi
    · EV switch (allows you to turn off the gas engine and put the car into silent electric mode at speeds under 34 MPH) Other mileage enhancement additions are an aluminum belly pan to reduce air drag, a catalytic converter insulator and an oil pan insulator. Both of these insulators help to retain valuable heat and enhance fuel economy. (if desired, all of these modifications can be easily removed without any remaining visible evidence)

I still have this car? ( I'm a beginner on forums such as this; I'm not sure if I am posting correctly etc. This is just a test mail to myself. )

    Hi Jim-

If you are interested, I would consider a trade on my 2005 fully loaded prius that also has a $5000 4kWh plug in conversion installed by Boulder Hybrid Conversions. It was recently converted in Jan 2011, and still under warranty.

    This car is loaded with
    leather
    nav
    bluetooth
    xeon lights...

    Thanks!
    Dan
