After selling them for years. I have now finally wised up and bought my own.. 2011 Prius Three with NW. Havent even drove it yet. I have the windows out being tinted right now.
Welcome Aboard! :welcome: Did you give yerself a good deal? Who are you going to fuss at if something goes awry with your car??? All the best!
He probably only had to pay MSRP, but had to go to the bottom of the waiting list 3 times because he was out with customers on test drives when his name came to the top of the list.
I'll save the car salesman jokes! You know what your getting into. This car needs tint, especially in sunny CA! How dark did you go?
ok, just picked it up yesterday. Took 4 days off to rest up and get ready for this forum, lol Tint, i went 5% in the back and 88% in the front tell all the jokes you want. I have a great sense of humor 15 years with Toyota, so I have been through it all first drive results 50.6 for my 65 mile ride home and 47.5 for my ride back to work I would have to say, I AM VERY PLEASED BY THAT and to answer your question. I have given customers way better deals in the past then I was able to get mine for. Timing is everything, as we all know
Welcome to PC, Cory. Where did you have the tint done? I was born and raised in FF. I used to work at a stereo shop there for about a decade. lol
Do only newbies have the reverse beeping? I've been online and discovered how to disengage and plan on doing ASAP. Just curious on others thoughts to this great industrial dump truck feature???
The beeping most likely just serves as a warning to you that the car is in reverse since it does not have a conventional gear shifter.. I find it annoying myself, and am going to de-activate it as well. Just think Toyota did it to protect themselves from law suits in gas someone backs into something else and claims that they put it in drive. Welcome to the forums BigCory! Good to see more Toyota employee's buying Prii as well. 50.6 is excellent for a first drive home. Before you know it you will be bumping up the tire pressures and trying to push it above the mid 50's mark.
