So far I bought centers caps, took off the hub caps and tinted the car at 30%. Installed a Curt hitch and installed a Morimoto HID kit 4300K from TRS. Great kit and if I had to do it again I would get the 5000K. You hide the ballast behind the plastic side panel out of plane sight. Thinking adding TRD rear sway bar and a Tanabe front strut bar. How about you?
Nice!! How do you like your tint? I'm going to tint mine this weekend in one of those shops in Westminster. I'm thinking 35% all the way around. I just bought 5000k HID's from DDM. I'm hoping to have a decent experience with them since I've been reading horror stories about the quality. (Thanks for letting me know where to hide the ballast!) I just ordered WeatherTech floor mats also. In the near future: 1)Some nice rims (especially if I can get my hands on the prius plus 17" rims) 2)Subwoofer and amp combo 3)Fog lights 4)Possible head unit Keep us updated on your progress!
I love my tint, best mod for any car. I got mines tinted at California Tint in Rosemead, VERY reputable place with over 15 years of service for $130 with lifetime warranty, these guys are not going anywhere therefore lifetime is lifetime. You can yelp them also it gets really pack there on the weekends.... I did mines 30% all around except the bottom hatch window, since it was a little dark from the factory I did 23% or something to match the rest. Oh by the way, Check out Husky brand, there was a thread on this a while ago comparing both mats, maybe you'll reconsider. Happy Moding.....
If you're going to buy a PND, I wouldn't go w/TomTom nor anyone else that uses inferior (for the US) Tele Atlas map data. Tele Atlas is now wholly owned by TomTom. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-...0-any-other-good-alternatives.html#post500527 is an example of that.
I have a TomTom lol. (oddly enough, the Toyota nav uses Navteq for its US maps and TeleAtlas for its Canadian maps. I saw that in the 11.1 map update PDF in the other thread)
