I have a 2011 Prius with less than 5000 miles on it. I keep the car outside and was wondering if this is normal.

The side window scraper/guides along the bottom of the window door frames do not remove any due/fog from the outside of the car when the window is rolled up and down to clear it.

The rubber is in full contact with the windows when the window is in the full up position but is not in any contact with the glass as it rolls up and down.

I do not expect them to act like wiper blades for a full clean but every other car I have owned some or most of the window has cleared by rolling it up and down. Is this normal?

    Thank you for your help

    Unfortunately, yes.

If you push out on your window as it goes up, it will get wiped of enough to be useful. That's hard to do for the other windows unless you have cooperative passengers.:D

Thanks for the input but my wife can not push it hard enough to get any contact as it goes up. I can but I feel like I might break something.
