I did not find this info on toyota website (spec). Does anyone know how much weight can we put in the back of prius v? I am buying 600 pounds of tiles from a seller about 70 miles away, is it ok to put all that in the back? can the plastic floor board support the weight? What is the maxium weight I can put back there? I also have 3 kids + me (about 300 pounds) in the seats. No more than 1000 pound total, but can the back support that much weight?

Thanks for the quick reply, I don't think I will exceed the total 915 pound weight limit, but can the plastic floor board in the cargo area support 600 pounds of tiles?
Sorry...didn't get the first cup of coffee down. I see what you're saying, if I understand it correctly you're putting box's of tiles in there? In looking at this picture http://www.toyota.com/img/vehicles/2012/priusv/gallery/full/int_8.jpg I would guess as long as you distributed the load evenly across the styrofoam cubbies and the surrounding plastic areas on the side, it looks like it could handle it. The key is to stack to where the load is on top of the styrofoam dividers, if those weren't underneath it I would be concerned. Edit: I just thought of something....IIRC you can take the cover and styrofoam cubbies out and you have a exposed sheet metal cavity..why not just do that?
