You are never too old for braces... but the longer a person has to live with a smile that others make fun of, there is a greater opportunity for them to develop long lasting issues of low self-esteem. If you have the means to fix a persons smile, you will be helping them to become more successful in the future... anyone that doesn't see the power of a nice smile is blind, literally.
I thought you attached them to your pants and flipped them over your shoulders... Cool little movie, by the way...
You can borrow my youngest if you want to see this video in reverse for what happens when you don't wear your retainer... We have to get them back on... $$$
While I agree with this, I also think that universal uniformity is rather boring. I've known people with beautiful smiles, precisely because of some slight (I stress slight) non-uniformities in their teeth, who got braces, and ended up just looking like everybody else. It's sad when people want to look exactly like everybody else. Serious deformities are another matter, and then braces are a boon.
