2010 prius key fobs used and work good (san diego)

    hi thru a lot of work and help from this forum i was able to get 2 used key fobs (ebay) to work on my 2010 prius thanks to the locksmith in long island
    (great guy!!!)

    Johns Prius,

    I live in Rockford, IL. I have two key fobs that the dealership gave me. I also have one extra that is useless to my Prius. Did the locksmith you worked with reprogram the official Toyota Smart Key to work with your Prius? My two keys from the dealership also work with my remote start by pushing the lock button 3 times. My Gen III has the solar panel roof which runs the A/C function on the keys.

    Please let me know if this is what you had done. I would love to get that third key working for my Prius for my other family members.

    good to hear that but i usually call a locksmith whenever i have a problem about it!
