whats up all! proud new owner of a 2007 gold/bronze, prius package 5! not my favorite color (which would be white silver and red) but it's not bad and i am really loving the car! i wanted to get window visors for my previous cars but didn't. and went ahead and got some for the prius! i bought it for $40 on ebay and they shipped fast!! fitment seems pretty good too.. tape on kind.. here is my quesiton... for the window visors, i would like to get as much "shade" as i can. so naturally, it's probably best to attach the visors as low as possible...? but i went ahead and stuck one side on, flush with the top of the window area. would you guys think that is the proper way to install it, or do you think i can get an extra inch and attach it a hair lower than how i have it? also there is a slight gap in the front area (you can see in the pic) that i really want to correct! kind of anal.. i can probably get 3M tape from hardware store and redo it... but wanted your guys' opinions.. thanks!! weathertech mats are next!
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices those are the ones i got... i actually put the passenger side ones little lower.. i think it works better.. i actually installed the passenger side front better as well. looks like i'll have to yank off the drivers side and do it over.. lol but at least i'll get that extra 1/2" and no gap lol yeah vegas sun is insane.. it's in the winter but i dread the summer months coming! is it true that prius' have better gas mileage in the hotter heat???
damn those visors are HUGE! they stick out at least 2"!!!! JDM OEM visors > all. (notice the sign...thought it was apropoes (sp?)
crappy pics, sorry i'll try upload them again soon and put them on photobucket if i will have my windows tinted, can they still tint it now with the window visors on? or should i take it all off?
yours look different than mine..do yours say Toyota engraved into each one? mine do mine also came with japanese instructions since its JDM. and no no need to remove for tint....a professional tinter can handle the job no problem.
