New MSRP of: $24,000 for a Prius Two $25,565 for a Prius Three $28,235 for a Prius Four $29,805 for a Prius Five And the Prius PLUS package is confirmed as a package for 2012 now. http://www.toyota.com/prius-hybrid/plus.html
Plus another $760 for Delivery, Processing & Handling Fee. Still trying to figure out if True Car's 2012 Prius 3 at 25,700 can be improved upon. I hate haggling.
25700 can be beat but i had to do the haggle thing. go to the dealer let them try to sell to you then tell them you have to ask the wife but make sure they know you are really serious about getting a prius. then have your wife call the next day with instructions on what to ask for over the phone (lower price) i told mine to say a number then to say if you can do that i will put down 500 today over the phone. i also let my wife know to say thank you if they would not go for it but then to say goodbye. my plan was to call the 3rd day myself but it wasn't needed we got a good deal from the wife calling she even asked for a better price than i originally asked her to say
When I did a "Build Your Own", Prius 4 w/ Solar, add Plus components (all 4), floor mats, etc, it became a nearly $38k car! $2500 for the forged wheels seems a lot, and not everyone will pay that. I didn't see the choice of accepting the Plus equipment as a package, but rather as components. I could see quite a few people probably going for the springs, sway bar, and body kit, but perhaps doing so on a Prius 4 or 5 and keeping the stock wheels (or installing after-market forged wheels).
