Anyone had this problem Algae around the headlight plastic rim. It shows up well on a white Prius What is the best technique to get rid of it.. I assume weak soap / bleach may harm the paint?
Ok in the light of day I can confirm the algae is only on the outer surface inner lip of the light assembly and that by applying hot soapy water with a 'bent drinking straw' to get under the lip and rub it has been removed. Same is happening at the rear light cluster however as this is not internal to the lights its not a big concern anymore. Just need to wash better.
see how green this car is algae can be used to produce fuel for cars you can grow it on your own prius:focus:
I hear algae can grow on the fur or the sloth and they are pretty slow moving. Maybe you should try driving faster.
