I had them on the HSH plus my night vision is poor. First couple of weeks with the halogens and I was not happy driving at night.

I find they make a significant difference (for me).

I hear you about needing courage before you take apart a perfectly functioning halogen system. I put together my little 'HID for dummies' because even with all the info already out there (on the net) plus folks here helping along, there was not a 'big picture' look at getting these things installed......and it can be a little overwhelming when running blind......
