I plugged my Ipod into the usb jack in the Prius C and it does not show up as an option to play in the audio menu? I plugged it in and out repeatedly and still no response... Anyone else have this problem, or how can I fix this? I also have the Prius C III with the navigation unit. I also have the Ipod Nano 2nd Generation
Not that I have a Prius c, but which iPod model do you have? There have been many models and generations. See Identifying iPod models.
sometime I have the problem like this in my civic. I just connect my ipod to the PC and try to update the ipod or refresh it. and it works.
Make sure the USB cable is the one that came with your nano, the new generation nano USB may be different.
I've had this same problem with my phone, htc EVO. Sometimes it will connect, others it won't and I have yet to find the correlation... Also haven't read the manual.
I did use the usb cable that came with my 2nd generation ipod. I just traded in my Hyundai Veloster yesterday for the Habanero Prius C and the Ipod worked fine in the Veloster.
It works fine on the Model IV with an Iphone 4 with the cable that comes with the charger. Entune only seems to work when using the cable, audio and Cell Phone works fine without the cabloe
I fixed it by buying a micro sd card and a tiny micro sd card reader and putting all my songs onto that. It is even better than an Ipod because you don't even see it in the USB jack and the songs are still arranged according to artist, album, etc.
