I'm surprised to see so many gear heads on this forum! I figured I'd start a thread to share your projects and what your goals are with the prius. Very nice! I bet that was a blast to drive. Honestly, listing all of my cars and trucks with every mod would be way too time consuming and probably boring to read so I'll just list the cars/trucks in order with their big mods, HP and 1/4mile times along with pics. Keep it short and sweet. 1990 Chevrolet 454SS pickup - All show with custom paint. The pics don,t show all of the crazy pearl and ghost graphics. 1987 Ford Mustang GT - Built 351W low compression with Vortech S-Trim blower, C4 trans, 1000hp Aeromotive fuel system, etc etc. ran only once with the final combo and went 6.8seconds in the 1/8th mile. I sold it before I had the bugs worked out. The old 306cid engine with S-trim ran low 11s all day long. 2000 Trans Am - heads, cam, and nitrous, 4400 stall TQ converter. Best time N/A: 11.5@115mph 1.58 60'. Best time juiced: 11.1@122mph NOT on spray and mashing the brakes to try and stay in the 12s. Notice the low mph? 2000 Corvette C5 auto- Blackwing air filter, Z06 titanium exhaust, off-road y-pipe. 12.5@111mph 2001 GMC Sierra Z71 - STS rear mount turbo, then Radix supercharger, then custom twin-turbo. Best ET: 12.33@110mph with STS turbo. Never ran it with Radix or twins. Twin-turbo setup made 719rwhp, 712rwtq. 2005 Prius - Mods are still in my sig.
Mustang, Trans AM, M3, Chevy Pickups and Prius. You my friend are a true car enthusiast =). That GMC, I thought I had a sleeper =). Nice Rides!
No M3, it was just a C5. I left out the Chevy truck because it was slow at 14.92 in the 1/4. It had a nice hood ornament though. Now hurry up and post your pics. Then get your new Prius and get started!
Oh, nice pics! I would have never expected those kinds of numbers coming from a Forester. I mean I knew they were quick but dayum!
