Clunking noise (metal against metal) as the car went over rumbling strips or potholes

    I have owned a 2012 Prius V wagon for about 4 months now (current mileage 2200 miles). On several occasions, I heard an annoying and loud Clunking noise (metal against metal) as the car went over rumbling strips or potholes.  The noise came from the front driver side I think.  Have any Prius owners heard this noise? Any solutions? Should I alarm the dealership?

    Hi TruSound,

    I looked over your thread about the clunking noise. It was informative. Someone mentioned about brake caliper pin. What do you plan to do about the noise?
