So, I've heard the 2012 Prius models with nav are able to play regular movie DVDs. In the 2010, the nav is DVD based, but won't play anything but the nav DVDs. I would like to add the DVD playback feature to my 2010. Would it be as simple as getting a 2012 Prius nav DVD, which would include software to open up the DVD feature? Or would I need to actually buy the 2012 in dash unit?
