I still have anti theft alarm stickers on my windows even after the dealership removed their alarm. To complete my faux security system i was thinking of getting a red fake alarm blinking LED off ebay. It can be wired to blink when the car is off, and turns off when car is on. anyone have good or bad expeirences with these? Where should i mount it, im not sure where these are usually installed, and since it requires drilling i would need an easily removable panel.
In my opinion those lights don't really have much effect these days. They used to, but nearly ever new car I see now has a blinking light in it when the car is off, and most of those don't actually have security systems.
