extent warranty

Not another new extended warranty thread.

They are a waste of money. It is well documented in other threads.

 

looks pretty good, mine was 7/100k for $1050 tax included.

 

Depends who the warranty is provided by.

 

If you're talking about the Toyota Platinum warranty this is a very competitive price.

Lots of opinions on this board, do what you're comfortable with but do research what is and is not covered. It can be found on the Toyota financial services web site.

 

Jerry is a good guy to work with. I've sent family friends to him before with great results. But there's another vendor in that area that will do it for a bit less.

There is no such thing as a bumper to bumper extended warranty!!! The dealer is telling lies.

 

No, this is an "extent" warranty thread. I assume this must relate to the range or magnitude of a warranty, but I don't know how.

Ok, I've never once said an extended warranty is a bumper to bumper warranty. In fact I've only posted links to the actual Toyota extended warranties site.

I know EXACTLY what is and is NOT covered by the factory warranty (bumper to bumper), powertrain, CARB (for my state) and Toyota Platinum warranties.

My comment to the OP was to make sure he understands exactly what is covered in his purchase - nothing more, nothing less.

 

I really think you are starting to realize that it is a scam. Anyone that reads all the exclusions and understands CARB gets this.
