I got the extra page on Friday, I think. I looked at it, but like you, had no idea what changes were made. Personally, I'm not all that concerned about it. I'll toss it in the glove with the rest of the manuals.
Same feeling, it did seem like they added more safety concerns and trying to avoid liability with misuse.
I compared the two. The new one seems to be written by someone with a better command of American English. I cannot recall specific cases, but some of the wording in the original indeed oddly sounded. And the original referred to things like 50Hz rather than 60Hz.
I didn't get anything new. I do remember laughing when I first read the manual, which ended with a warning that failure to follow the instructions could lead to...... strangulation! And I was worried about electrocution...
There was a one-page instruction sheet folded into a small clear plastic bag (about 2 inches square). I think it was in the bag the EVSE came in (a nice bubble bag). Unless your dealer tossed it when they prepped your car.
